Our wine is stamped by a unique and distinctive style. It is supposed to communicate a certain kind of authenticity and therefore express origin, soil, varietal, vintage as well as our personal style.
White wine is our specialty as Riesling grows on 70 % of our steep slopes by the Nahe. We are especially proud of our 50 year old Riesling vines at our sites Münsterer Pittersberg and Münsterer Dautenpfänzer.
Silvaner and Pinot Blanc take up ten percent of our vineyards each.
The different Pinot varieties (Pinot Gris, Pinot Madeleine and Pinot Noir) as well as Chardonnay, Scheurebe, and Gewürztraminer round down our assortment.
Well-balanced acidity, considerable fruit as well as minerality can be found in our dry Rieslings for which we have been awarded many times.
The Große Gewächse constitute the highest quality level of our Rieslings within the VDP-classified sites Münsterer Pittersberg and Münsterer Dautenpflänzer.
Our Pinot Noir calmly ripes in barrique in order to unfold its fine, elegant structure. With its straightforward and diverse style, it is similar to famous wine from Burgundy, but nevertheless it keeps its originality.
